About Us
The Canadian International School of Phnom Penh (CISP) is an international , accredited, pre-school, opening its doors on August 6, 2012 as pre-school embracing future generations and with a global vision. Our plan is to link with a companion Primary One to Grade Twelve Canadian International School, to be constructed on Diamond Island. This will give our students a seamless journey from pre-school through to Grade Twelve.
School Mission
CISP will be a kind, caring and environmentally sensitive school, known for its academic excellence. We will work for the development of the whole child using an up-to-date Canadian curriculum, proven teaching methodology, and leading-edge technology. CISP will provide the foundation for our graduates to become successful citizens of the world.
Core Beliefs
We Believe
- In the worth of every student
- In excellence in all our work
- In tolerance for all people
- In taking care of our world
- In promoting international awareness
Activities
CISP recognizes the need for pre-school children to learn to control their body movement & to exercise. Each day will have, within it, opportunities for meaningful active play. Students will be exposed to dance and music activities. All of this will be carefully designed by early childhood teachers in order to increase their ability to understand how their bodies move & move that movement.
